Fortson named National Mediation Board chair

Kyle Fortson has been named chairman of the National Mediation Board (NMB).

The U.S. Senate unanimously confirmed her as a board member in November 2017. Before joining the NMB, Fortson served as labor policy director for the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee.

She also served as a policy analyst for the Senate Republican Policy Committee handling labor and other issues, NMB officials said in a press release.

Gerald Fauth III and Linda Puchala will remain members of the board.
