In fall, crews completed other state-of-good-repair work on Line 1.Photo – tta.caThe Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) tomorrow will close a portion of the Line 1 subway to replace special track and switches.
To complete the work, the agency will shut down the line Dec. 9-10 between the St. Clair and Lawrence stations.
The repairs will enable the TTC to lift the current speed restriction in the area that has slowed trains for the last several weeks, agency officials said in a press release.
