Deer Park Multi-Commodity Dry and Liquid Bulk – Deer Park, TX

For a multi-commodity terminal project in Deer Park, TX, RITD provided track design services to support refurbishment and expansion of a rail terminal on the Houston Ship Channel. The work focused on creating a rail configuration capable of loading refined products efficiently while maintaining safe, reliable interchange with nearby refinery and pipeline infrastructure.

RITD’s scope included track geometry improvements, loading track and yard design, and site civil elements such as grading, drainage, and access to the loading rack. The resulting layout supports higher railcar loading capacity, streamlined train movements, and clear pathways for future enhancements to storage and loading capabilities, positioning the terminal as a flexible logistics asset for refined products.
